Ruach Youth Ministry was established in 1999 where Bishop Francis the founder of Ruach Ministries gave the youth an opportunity to do something different on a very big stage. This was launched at a major conference at the Brixton Academy and we have not turned back since.

Ruach Youth Dance Troop – “RYDT”
The vision of RYDT is to use dance, movement and creative arts as a tool to minister to both the unsaved and the saved. As a ministry, we should impact the lives of our team members, the church and the world, through discipleship and evangelism. We mainly do street dance but have ministered in many different styles.
Praise Dance
To assist in the spiritual, emotional and physical development of members; resulting in greater confidence in their worship to and walk with God, in dance.
Choir and Praise & Worship
To encounter the tangible manifestation of God’s presence, making it known to the nations of this world that God is real and raising a generation of worshippers who will openly display the power of Jesus Christ.
Musicians
To play the sounds from heaven that will lift up the Name of Jesus and set captives free. The music is a weapon to change atmospheres and environments for the kingdom of God. We also aim to teach and edifying the body of Christ of how to get God's attention in your Praise and Worship. Finally, we want to have fun in the presence of our Father, which men will see and join us with us.
Drama
Drama theatre and performance in ministry is not the art of "acting" and being "showbiz", but it is about preciseness of getting a message across to the anticipated audience by conveying real emotion and felling using the body movement, facial expressions and voice. The vision for the ministry is to use unique forms and modes of drama and theatre to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to be believers of Jesus Christ and believers of Jesus Christ. After Care
To ensure that when anyone commits there life to Jesus Christ within our service as a new believer or someone who has returned to the Lord, will get the support and after care that they need to steer them onto the correct path of discipleship.
Young Men Of God – “YMOG”
Living for Christ, moving forward in life – overcoming areas of weakness.” The purpose of the ministry is to empower the young men within the church to embrace their call and be effective Christians. The YMOG leadership team are committed to in the encouraging of the young men to take their rightful places as godly sons, fathers, brothers, husbands, uncles, teachers, preachers, evangelists, psalmists, prophets, pastors, employees, mentors, leaders etc.
Women Of Worth – “WOW”
As a ministry our desire is to encourage spiritual and personal growth in the young women by creating an environment where young women of all backgrounds, can come and receive wise counsel through our variety of edifying topics and discussions.
Youth Bible Studies – “Kingdom Minds”
Kingdom Minds seeks to encourage young people to have a closer relationship with God. That the undiluted Word of God is taught that youth attending come into the unity of the knowledge of Jesus Christ and are not tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine.’
Ruach Youth Outreach Team – “RYOT Squad”
Our focus is to ‘TAKE THE CITY’ by telling people about Jesus. The core value of this ministry is LOVE. For without it nothing is worth doing. Our hunger is to see people set free and ultimately to see JESUS LIVED UP.
Hospitality/Ushers
That there will be spiritual growth for each individual usher and the team as a collective so that each usher can become more like Christ in all areas of their lives. To be Spirit led at all time, “serving unto the Lord and not unto man”.
Social Team
The vision for the social ministry is to provide an environment where a group of young people can socialise with each other. The environment will not just provide fun and games but there will be opportunities for minds to become more open and learn and do new things that they would not have done otherwise. It will become a gateway for forming new friends by being open to anyone who wants to come. Young people in the church need to realise that they are brothers and sisters in Christ therefore they need to learn to engage in that relationship.
Youth Coordinating Team – “YCT”
Our mission is to plan and implement youth services, conferences and projects effectively and efficiently so that the vision comes to fruition. We plan sessions so the pastors don’t have to get involved with planning so they can get on with looking after the youth pastorally.
