Ephesians 6:13-18
Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of wicked one.And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
At the heart of Ruach Ministries is a passion for prayer and as such the leadership actively encourages Prayer and Fasting on a regular basis throughout the year. Partners (Members) and visitors look forward to the various prayer focused activities with enthusiasm. Ruach Ministries also has a Ministry Section specifically dedicated to prayer, intercession and spiritual warfare. The Spiritual Mediation Ministry Section, as its name suggests, is concerned with ‘standing in the gap’ or interceding on behalf of others and petitioning the Lord for the various prayer requests received. In doing so, the Team take on the whole armour of God as spoken of in Ephesians 6:13-18, taking take up their authority as God’s people in overcoming the enemy of our souls.
The Spiritual Mediation Ministry Section consists of the following Ministry Teams:
The Intercessory Ministry Team is dedicated to ‘standing in the gap’ through prayer and fasting for the needs of individuals, Ruach Ministries, the Body of Christ and Nations of the World. The team meets on a weekly basis to intercede and pray together for any Prayer Requests received. Individuals may complete a Prayer Request Slip which can be submitted to the Team for prayer. Prayer Request Slips are available on the Information Stand in the Faith Reception. Alternatively, Prayer Requests are accepted via email, post or by telephoning the Ruach Office.
The Deliverance Ministry Team exists to pray and practically assist those Ruach Partners (Members) through their process of deliverance. Partners (members) of Ruach Ministries who have indicated that they are experiencing challenges with continued spiritual oppression can receive help to find complete deliverance with practical teaching, advice and strategic prayer. Presently, this team is available to Ruach Partners (Members) only.
The Prayer Counsellors Ministry Team exists to pray with and for those making an open profession of their faith in Jesus Christ and those wishing to rededicate their lives to the Jesus Christ. The Prayer Counsellors are usually the ‘first point of call’ for the new believer or backslider returning to the Lord.
