Romans 12:9-13 (The Message Bible) 9. Love from the centre of who you are; don't fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to good. 10. Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle. 11. Don't burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, 12. cheerfully expectant. Don't quit in hard times; pray all the harder. 13.Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality.
The Hospitality team will most probably be one of the first people whom you will come into contact with when you visit Ruach Ministries. We are:
The Hospitality Ministry Team is paralleled on God’s designed chain of support for His people in His called out Levites, as the specific support ministry which He gave to His leadership team as a gift. The Hospitality Ministry Section is a strong link in God’s chain of support and is a Ministry of Helps in the Kingdom of God. Their aim is to make everyone feel special irrespective of background or culture, in line with Ruach’s motto, ‘Where Everybody is Somebody’!
The Hospitality Ministry Section consists of 7 Ministry Teams:
With Food Hygiene and Health & Safety as their guide, and a commitment to Quality and Excellence in food preparation and presentation, the Catering Team prepare and serve appetising food to the congregation on a Sunday and mid-week, between services. This team also caters for visitors at large events held during special services/events at Ruach Ministries.
The First Aid Team provides prompt & immediate attention in the event of emergencies and/or minor incidents and accidents within the Ruach premises. Members would have been trained in the delivery of First Aid, and minister in a caring, compassionate and professional manner.
Positioned at the church entrance, Greeters provide a warm welcome to all visitors to our services, making them feel important by exhibiting the love of God through their seasoned verbal and non-verbal communication. In addition to the warm welcome, the Greeters Team distribute the weekly Order of Services, assist with directing people to the right place or the right person, and answer any questions or enquiries visitors may have on their arrival.
Members of the Hygiene Team are committed to making the physical environment for worship pleasant for our visitors. The team takes a great deal of pride in making and keeping the premises clean, tidy and hygienic, working to the highest quality and standard, before, during and after its daily use. The Team adhere to Health & Safety standards at all times.
Peace Keepers help to maintain order in the House as directed by Ruach’s Polices & Procedures and, most importantly, the Holy Spirit. They provide a safe and secure experience to all who visit and minister at Ruach Ministries. They are ever vigilant and training enables them to deal with any difficult situations which may occur using the art of communication and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
The Transport team collects and takes guests, visitors and Ministers to a given destination (in and outside of London) via cars or mini buses. This team especially caters for visitors at large events and on special occasions. They also provide additional transportation to the other ministry teams of Ruach as and when needed.
Ushers welcome all visitors on entering Ruach Ministries, directing them to appropriate seating doing their best to ensure an efficient and pleasant experience. They aim to facilitate an atmosphere that allows the presence and supernatural power of God to flow freely, giving the Holy Spirit total freedom for having His way in every service. They are equipped and trained to provide assistance to not only the Preacher, but the entire congregation in functioning with order, harmony, love and reverence toward the Holy Spirit. This Team also assists at Altar Calls attending to the congregation’s needs. This Team strives to show the love of God and Christ-likeness to all visitors.
